Workshop Methodology

Seeds workshops are dynamic experiences where people from different backgrounds can discuss perspectives on critical issues while creating valuable community connections.

All Seeds workshops follow the same methodology with different topics per workshop. The topic below is, “Connection and Our Relationship with Technology”.

Part I: Concept Introduction & Reflection

Part I uses a series of exercises to help participants reflect on their own experiences and share valuable insights on the specific topic with the group.

Part II: Topic Exploration & Conclusions

Part II uses these insights as jumping off points for deeper, in-group topic discussions led by topic owners, resulting in multi-perspective themes, called “seeds”.

Conclusion:

Topic owners present summaries of the discussions back to the group and propose concrete next-steps ideas.

Post Workshop:

The notes and recorded discussions from the workshop are used to create editorial-style articles that summarize the discussions and serve as starting points for new project ideations.

Details of the methodology are illustrated in the graphics below.
